Cowboys Training Camp
A couple of Saturdays ago, Morgan and I attended the Cowboys Training Camp at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Can't beat free admission. The practice was an hour and a half and they spent about 30 minutes of that scrimmaging. Pretty cool to see some a pro team doing passing and blocking drills just like high school teams do. Just a little more polished though.
TO made quite a few circus catches while we were there.
TO waiting for his turn doing receiving drills.
Former LSU Tiger, #96 Marcus Spears.
Our seats in the endzone.
#9 is Tony Romo. Kerrie wanted to know if Carrie Underwood was nearby. She wasn't.
Former LSU Tiger, #56 Bradie James. He has gotten a little bigger in his 5+ years in the NFL. Take a look at him as a Tiger back in 2000 (link). In case your wondering, that pic is from the 2000 LSU-Bama game where a crap call got overturned. While the refs were deciding what do, the whole team (and the stadium for that matter) was pointing to the jumbotron because the replay clearly showed how awful the call truly was. That was also the first time LSU beat Bama in Baton Rouge since 1969. Me, Derek, and Chris Storie drove to that game Saturday morning and drove back to Tuscaloosa after the game. Long day but worth it.
That's Roy Williams on the left (#31).
TO after practice taking questions.
