Fiesta Parade

So every April, San Antonio has a 10-day long celebration called Fiesta complete with numerous parties, concerts, parades, etc., etc. Fiesta started in 1891 when a group of women paraded in front of the Alamo in horse-drawn carriages, pelting each other with flower blossoms. The parade served to honor those who fought in the battles of the Alamo and San Jacinto. Nowadays, it's pretty much a really good reason for a parade, a party and to be off work. Anyway, K's school had their own Fiesta parade and got to make their own floats. Here are the results.

And she's off....

You can't really complain about a parade when popsicles are involved.
