Day 6 - Thursday - Return to Magic Kingdom and Epcot
Magic Kingdom
Thursday morning started off with a return trip to the Magic Kingdom for breakfast inside Cinderella's Castle. We really lucked out on getting in because you have to make reservations six months in advance or else it gets booked. They had a cancellation and Kerrie was lucky enough to be at the hotel's reservation counter at the right time to get us in. When we checked in, we were greeted by Cinderella and then went up to the second floor of the castle for breakfast. While we ate, four other Princesses came by to say hello. After breakfast, we hit a few of the rides we missed on Tuesday (including Space Mountain for me and Mo) and found some characters for some autographs.
Can you find the three girls?
K with Cinderella in her castle.
The view from inside the castle looking out into Fantasyland.
The castle's ceiling.
K and Mo ready for some breakfast and princesses.
K with Snow White.
K and Belle.
K and Mo with Aurora aka Sleeping Beauty.
K meeting her favorite princess Jasmine from Aladdin. I'll be putting up lots of video later with K meeting all the characters but this one was pretty special. A couple of nights before, K had colored a picture for Jasmine and she gave it to her when she met her at the breakfast. Jasmine gushed over it and K was talking about it the rest of the day. That video, along with all the other character meetings, will be up later this week.
Mo with Jasmine.
Me, K, and Mo riding the carousel.
Dad giving some pointers....
Unfortunately, this was the only horse Mo could find to ride all week.
Here we all are on Goofy's roller coaster.
K and Mo ready to race.
Us.
K meeting Daisy Duck.
K with the cows.
Kerrie and Mo trying to shoot me and K in the Buzz Lightyear ride.
K readying to return fire.
K meets Buzz.
The girls hanging out with Dumbo.
Here is K and Mo meeting Ariel. Ariel is brushing K's hair with her fork.
The girls and the Little Mermaid.
Here is K in a little water playarea besides Ariel's house. You may ask what is she doing?
And here comes the water....
Right into the face.
Soaked.
This tiger in the "It's a Small World" ride cracked me up. And yes, the song is still in my head.
I had no idea that Derek was part of the "It's a Small World" ride.
The two guys on the left look like they should be South Park characters.
And.....done.
Kerrie and K meeting Chicken Little.
Epcot
We returned to Epcot Thursday afternoon for dinner reservations and to see the fireworks. Mo and I rode the Test Track ride again except this time K came along with us. The video of that is below. This was K's dream day - breakfast with princesses and dinner with princesses.
The Test Track coaster.
The girls as African queens.
Mo as the Queen...me as the Camel.
K with Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger. Tigger was hilarious. He first started dancing with K, then Pooh cut in. Tigger then goes to Eeyore to dance and then fakes like Eeyore bit him. Tigger also liked K's autograph book because it rattled. That is what got him dancing. Video of all of this will be up later this week.
Here are Chinese acrobats. These two balanced on one hand for a good ten minutes doing various tricks and poses. Made my wrist hurt.
Here is K and Mo meeting Belle again (this time in evening attire). The other princesses at the dinner were Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel (human form), and Jasmine.
The girls at dinner.
Me and K watching the fireworks. Mo took the picture. I really like how it turned out.
The Fireworks.
