A Day At The Lake

Happy weekend everyone. Yesterday, the girls and I went with Kerrie's boss and family on their boat to Canyon Lake. The lake is about 45 minutes from the house in the hills of Texas. As you can see from the pictures, the water is an emerald green and is about the best looking lake I have ever seen. You can see your feet when you are in the water. Kerrie and I skied for the first time in quite a while. Morgan and Karlyle (accompanied by me) did a little tubing as well. Enjoy.

K is ready.

Girls loading up.

K said the boat made big splashes.

Some of the many rocks and cliffs.

I tried to get Kerrie to jump but she said no.

This is one of the coves where we stopped to swim. There were about 20 boats in all - most of them tied together.

The rock formations were gorgeous.

More landscapes - Kerrie and I like that white house on the hill.

Not a bad afternoon.

K and Mommy.

One of my favorite pictures of the day.

Mo and K blowing their bubbles.

The girls ready for mom to ski.

My other favorite picture of the day.

Up.

And Down.

Disaster waiting to happen.

Me sucking wind.

The most air I could get.

This was Mo yelling to slow down.

Got to love that look.

A little tired.

K tubing - that's me trying not to drown.

4 arms - 1 head.

No hands.

Our big splash.

K yelling "Go faster."

We're Back

Due to some technical difficulties - namely a few big red lines going down the screen - our laptop has been out of commission the last few weeks. So, no updates to the blog. But we are back in business now thanks to Circuit City and their lovely warranty plan.

As for us, we are doing just fine. Kerrie's job is starting to pick up, mine is nuts (very busy court docket), Morgan is home and is about to start 7th grade, and Karlyle has apparently turned into a fish. She has become quite the swimmer this summer thanks to swimming lessons - swimming underwater, going 10-15 feet at a time without anyone holding her. It's a far cry from May when she didn't want her face to get wet.

Pop, D, and Megan flew in last weekend to visit our place for the first time. Here is a picture of us (or rather, everyone but me since I took the picture) eating dinner @ the Riverwalk on Saturday. And yes, K was VERY sleepy.

Tim & Faith Concert

Around mid-July, Kerrie, K, and I went to see the Tim McGraw-Faith Hill concert. Below are some pics. K had a blast.

K all ready to go.

The Set from our seats.

Tim coming out of the stage to open the show.

Faith came out the other side - they were singing "Like We Never Loved At All."

K liked it.

The stage did all kinds of cool graphics.

Faith singing.

Zoom in.

Zoom out. Love my camera.

After Faith's solo set, they did a few more duets.

Tim started his solo set with "Real Good Man."

This is a picture of him center stage - did I mention I like the camera?

Cool shot.

After Tim's solo set, they did more duets.

And some videos....
