Happy Thanksgiving

A happy Thanksgiving to everyone this morning. We are staying in San Antonio for the weekend. Morgan has a soccer tournament with the first game being at 8AM on Friday morning. Happy Holidays right? We are sitting here this morning watching a little Thanksgiving Parade and cooking for about 20 people even though there are only 4 of us here. K is liking the floats. Yesterday morning I asked her to guess who was on the last float in the parade. She looked at me and said, "Uhhhh, a big ole turkey." Close...very close.

Things have been good since the last post after Halloween. Kerrie got a promotion and Morgan's soccer team won their division and are now preparing for regionals. She is pretty excited. A couple of weekends ago, we made one of our patented all-night drives to Alabama to visit my family in Tuscaloosa. While we were there, K figured out that she might just be big enough to feed her one-year-old cousin Savannah. Here's how that went down...




This afternoon we plan on putting up the Christmas decorations around the house (pics will be up when we get done). Tomorrow, obviously, will be spent watching LSU try to control Arkansas' two-man team and hopefully throw for 500 yards against their horrible defense. More to follow....

Happy Halloween

So thankfully, my trial in Oklahoma that started on Tuesday turned into a one day trial as opposed to a four day one. This was good for three reasons. First, we got a VERY good deal. Second, it got me out of Altus, Oklahoma 3 days early (a place were the Applebees was described as "safe"). And (c), because it let me get home on midnight Tuesday night which meant I would be home for Halloween. When the trial got docketed for the day before Halloween, we knew there was NO way I would be home for Halloween. The girls were a little excited when I told them the news and showed up on the doorstep three days early and in time for Halloween. So here are the pics from Wednesday night. As you will see, Kerrie and Mo took care of handing out the candy while K and I worked the neighborhood for the goods.
