Finally...an Update...and a Big Announcement

So yes...it has been a little bit since the last update. There have been a lot of things going on with the family in the last few months, most of it concerning me. First, I had my wisdom teeth removed (NOTE: don't wait til you're almost 30 to get this done - my 4 teeth ended up in 10 pieces before it was over with). Also, as many of you know, I am set to separate from the Air Force in June and have been busy looking for a job. There has been some movement on that end so hopefully we will know something very soon. In the meantime, we have had quite of bit of other things go on to as you will see with all the new posts below.

And oh yeah...the biggest news of all...we are expecting a new baby sometime in the November timeframe. The girls and I are very excited and can't wait to hear that we are having another girl (ok, we don't actually know anything since it is so early but the early odds of a boy is 1,000,000 to 1).

So, a lot going on with us down in Texas these days. We'll keep everyone informed as we learn more details about the future. The girls and I hope everyone has had a very blessed Easter Sunday. And be sure to check out the video below of us telling the girls about Kerrie being pregnant.

Easter

We decided to head to church on Saturday Night Easter services, so, as K would say, we got all fancy. While Kerrie and Mo were finishing getting ready, K decided she was ready for one of her patented photo shoots. Anyone who knows her knows she loves to get her picture taken and absolutely loves to strike any kind of random pose she can think of. This is what ensued....

Things started out perfectly normal....

...then got serious...

...then cute...

...and downhill from there.

The sunglasses went on...

...and we ended up with...

...the party girl shot. On a side note, the family pic was taken after all of these individuals of K. Apparently her smiling quota has already been met.

Soccer Season Again

Soccer season has started once again. In the coming weeks, I'll have more but here are some pics of Mo from her first game.

Mo stepping into a slightly taller girl to get the ball.

Game face.

K' s #5

This year, we decided to have K's birthday at our house. K decided on going with the Disney Fairies and off we went. 15 kids and one jumping castle later, we were all ready for a nap but K had what she called "the bestest party and day ever." When they came that morning to set up the castle, I swear she almost passed out. Too funny.

The setup.

K's Mecca. An interesting note - when you unplug the generator, the thing deflates in like 5 seconds. Crazy.

A happy girl.

Mo posing for her one picture. After this one, she stole the camera.

My favorite pic of the day.

The backyard craziness.

Birthday in Texas = Pinatta requirement.

A swing.....

...and a miss.

And chaos.

Happy again.

Destruction.

Cake and ice cream.

Morgan's Winter Concert

In late February, Morgan had her annual winter choir concert. Here are a few pics and some video of the performance.

K was a little tired by the end.

San Antonio Rodeo

During February, the Spurs go on what is now called the "Rodeo Road Show" which is like an extended road trip so that the San Antonio Rodeo can take place. For about two and a half weeks, the rodeo is in town and the basketball court is replaced with a lot of dirt, horses, and bulls. Each day, they have rodeo events and then the night is closed out by a concert. This year, we made it on a Sunday afternoon to see the rodeo and then a concert by Josh Turner.

This one was pretty funny since the bull came out just going nuts and then, all of a sudden, just stopped. Not a move for like 5 seconds...until the crazy clown guy ran in front of him. This he got ill again.

And there he goes...

and....

BOOM.

Pretty.
